Resources for Faculty and Staff

USC offers numerous resources to assist University employees. Following are some of the resources:

Center for Work and Family Life

Center for Work and Family Life (CWFL) provides services to employees and their families who face challenges. Relationship issues, workplace conflict, stress reduction, and executive coaching are among the many areas that CWFL provides assistance.

Human Resources

Provides a wide variety of services for faculty and staff. Departments include benefits administration, employee engagement and communications, talent acquisition, Trojan Learn, and retirement plans.

Academic and Faculty Affairs

The Office of the Executive Vice Provost, Academic and Faculty Affairs supports the faculty and the University’s academic programs. The office includes the Graduate School, Undergraduate Programs, the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs and the Center for Excellence in Teaching.

Faculty Handbook

The Faculty Handbook contains the central policies of the University, developed through shared governance. As in prior editions, the amendments are recommended by the Academic Senate.

Research Abroad

USC encourages its faculty, staff, and students to participate in university-related international activities, including international study and research. USC also has several international offices that support the university’s efforts in global recruiting, partnerships with foreign universities, governments, and other institutions, and exchange opportunities.
