Families, Parents & Guardians

Campus Support & Intervention (CSI) is dedicated to assisting your student in navigating complex issues that may arise during their time at USC. Whether they need help with academic, professional, or personal challenges, our team is here to provide support, guidance, and connections to valuable resources. We offer consultations in-person, via Zoom, or over the phone to ensure your student receives the best possible assistance.

Please note that while we are committed to their well-being, we are not an emergency resource and are not available 24/7.In case of an emergency, contact the Department of Public Safety (DPS) at 213-740-4321.

FERPA Disclaimer

CSI adheres to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), also known as the Buckley Amendment. This federal law protects the privacy of student education records. Because of this, CSI cannot share any information about a student unless they have consented to and completed a FERPA release on OASIS

Our primary goal is to support students by offering the guidance and resources they need to succeed at USC. We recognize that family support can play a crucial role in a student’s success. We are dedicated to collaborating with students to identify and implement the best options for their well-being.

In some instances, we may encourage the student to establish open communication with their parents, guardians, or family members for additional support. When students choose to involve their parents, guardians, or family members, CSI will work with both the student and their family to provide the best care possible.

Please note that CSI may share a student’s information without their consent during crises or emergencies, including health and safety situations where it is necessary to protect the well-being of the student or others.

Concerned about your student?

If you feel that your student may be in need of support, please encourage them to connect with one of our team members, no matter how insignificant they believe their problem is. Our goal is to provide support as early as possible so their challenges don’t become crises.

We also welcome you to contact our office directly to share your concerns via phone, email, or the Trojans Care 4 Trojans (TC4T) reporting form. While we may not be able to provide specific information about your student without a FERPA Release, we are happy to assist in any way we can.
